ABOUT THE DOCTOR

​

Dr. Eric Kuo (pronounced “quo”) received his orthodontic specialty training from UCSF, his DDS degree from UCLA, and his undergraduate degree in chemistry with honors from Stanford University.   He is also a consultant and the former Vice President of Clinical Technology at Align Technology Inc., the makers of Invisalign® aligners.  He has been an invited conference speaker and trainer for Invisalign doctors throughout the US and around the world.  Dr. Kuo has presented at the 2015 American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Scientific Session, the 2014 SOS Conference, the 2013 Wendell Wylie keynote lecture at UCSF, and the SAS Data Mining Conferences in 2010 and 2008.  He was the editor of the Invisalign Gallery publication from 2010-2014 and is an inventor on over 100 issued US patents on clear aligners and related dental technologies.  In 2009, he helped create the Align Research Award Program, which has awarded over a million dollars to date towards university research worldwide in clear aligners and intraoral scanners.  Dr. Kuo is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and San Francisco Dental Society.
